ROMANTIC ACCENT BRAIDS

When it comes to summer hairstyles, we trend towards the loose and whimsical over the sleek and straight (although both definitely have a time and place, regardless of season!). And that's exactly why this soft style featuring fishtail accent braids is going to be on repeat all season long. Inspired by Rachel Zoe's Autumn/Winter 16 runway show earlier this year, we consulted our team of stylists to learn how to get the look:

Starting with towel-dried hair, apply a handful of Sculpting Foam™ from roots to ends for body, hold and shine (and a barely-there coconut scent... really!). If you have notoriously straight hair or limp strands, use Awapuhi Wild Ginger® Texturizing Sea Spray® to give your hair added texture and grit.

Next, blow-dry hair until it’s completely dry. Don't worry about achieving a smooth finish—this style is all about texture.

Gather the bottom three-fourths of your hair and create a side fishtail braid. Secure with a clear elastic.

For finishing touches, gently pull the braid outward to expand it and, if desired, use a teasing comb to gently back brush your plaits to give them a lived-in look.
